Help us better reach Central Pennsylvania

One of our greatest needs since planting our church was finding a suitable building and location that we could use as a home base for our ministry endeavors. While we realized that church isn’t the building, we also knew that having a building could amplify our ability to reach our local communities and make mature believers of Jesus Christ in Central Pennsylvania.

Phase 1 (~$32,500)

This phase includes various odds-and-ends necessary to (1) make the best use of our new building and (2) address general ministry needs. These items are prioritized in Phase 1 because their absence requires us to be especially creative in fulfilling our mission to minister to the Central Pennsylvania region. We currently need:

  • a 300 gallon trough for baptisms (~$400)

  • Three 85” TVs for song lyrics and PowerPoint slides (~$3,000)

    • One 75” TV for a rear confidence monitor (~$850)

  • Gravel for the rear parking lot (~$2,500)

  • 60 additional matching chairs for the auditorium (~$3,700)

  • 20 additional chairs for the fellowship hall (~$400)

  • A small sound system (~$3,150)

  • a 3-zone split unit air conditioning system to heat and cool the entire building (~$20,000)

  • Materials to build a wall between the Auditorium and Common Room (~$1,500) — the Common Room will be used for both children’s ministries and biblical counseling ministries.

Phase 2 (~$135,000)

This phase includes purchasing our building and building a handicap-accessible restroom behind our Auditorium (we currently do not have a restroom on the main level).

We currently need:

  • approximately $15,000 to build the restroom. This cost accounts for:

    • 1 toilet

    • 1 handwashing sink

    • Plumbing costs

    • Electrical work to add lights and outlets

    • a mirror to hang above the sink

    • new walls, insulation, and a new drop ceiling

  • about $120,000 to purchase the building outright from the current landlord. This cost includes:

    • purchasing the church building itself

    • purchasing the former parsonage next door

    • purchasing the grass lot on the corner of Main and 3rd Streets

Phase 3 ($~150,000)

This final phase will make our entire facility handicap accessible and easily accessible via our rear parking lot. This includes:

  • paving a 30-40 vehicle parking lot where our current grass and gravel lots exists

  • Building a short extension to the rear of our building that will enclose and rebuild our stairs, add a hallway to the entrance to our fellowship hall (currently only accessible by going outside), add a chair lift, and add a church office.
